RTcom Showcases Falcon Eye at Gulf of Guinea Maritime Security Symposium
Abuja, Nigeria – RTcom proudly participated in the Gulf of Guinea Maritime Security Symposium, hosted by the Nigerian Navy. This significant regional event convened key security agencies, maritime stakeholders, and policymakers to address challenges and solutions surrounding maritime domain awareness and coastal protection in West Africa.
During the event, RTcom Managing Director, Mr. Gerard Levy, delivered a keynote presentation on the Falcon Eye Maritime Surveillance System. His remarks showcased how the Falcon Eye project has enhanced Nigeria’s ability to:
- Continuously monitor maritime activity in real time
- Rapidly detect and respond to piracy, oil theft, and illegal fishing
- Strengthen coordination between naval, customs, and intelligence agencies
- Safeguard Nigeria’s Exclusive Economic Zone and critical infrastructure
The Falcon Eye Project, developed in collaboration with the Nigerian Navy and under the supervision of the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), stands as a model for surveillance excellence across the Gulf of Guinea.
